I had the chance to work with an alum that I met while on the Fulbright Distinguished Award for Teaching. We decided to co-present “Art as Entrance to Courageous Conversations: Visual Literacy & Critical Thinking” at the 8th Annual Global Teaching Dialogue. Using art and visible thinking strategies, educators learned how to improve visual literacy and think critically about their content areas. Educators were guided through at least two visible thinking strategies and walked away with resources to personalize their curriculum.
